Hack Night has always been a favorite at InstructureCon – a place to connect, solve problems, and share ideas. This year, we’re evolving the experience to be more interactive, accessible, and useful for everyone, whether you’re an instructional designer, educator, admin, or just curious about what’s possible.

What Is Hack Night 2025?

Hack Night is an open, collaborative space at InstructureCon where attendees can:

  • Share feedback and ideas
  • Tackle technical challenges with our engineers
  • Explore ways to improve accessibility
  • Network with peers and Instructure teams

NEW this year: Hack Night features three distinct opportunities to engage with Product & Engineering and help shape what’s next through your ideas and feedback.

Where Is It Happening?

Hack Night will take place during InstructureCon:

Tuesday, 7/22

7:30-9pm

Double Tree Hotel, Grand Ballroom

Full details on date, time, and location will also be included in your conference materials and the mobile app (agenda available now, here). All three opportunities will be set up in the same general area, so you can move freely among them based on your interests.

How Can I Get Involved?

Everyone is welcome. Whether you’re a technical expert, an educator, an admin, or someone with big ideas – there’s a space for you. No registration or prep required – just show up and jump in.

Here are the opportunities you’ll be able to explore:

Access & Insights

Want to make your courses more inclusive? Our Learning Services experts are ready to help. This opportunity focuses on practical tips, accessibility best practices, and real conversations.

  • Informal Q&A on accessibility
  • Personalized feedback on your courses
  • Learn new strategies for inclusivity

Have Questions?

We’re happy to help! Drop your questions in the comments below, and we’ll get back to you before Hack Night begins. You can also ask questions in person at the event – we’ll have team members available to guide you.

No matter your role or expertise, Hack Night is your chance to engage, collaborate, and help shape the future of Instructure tools. We can’t wait to hear your ideas and work together to make learning better for everyone.
